SAILING TO PHOENICIA

Scylax, or the dog, a position for foreplay
and intercourse involving much kneeling
and bending over on all fours,
is especially favored by the Phoenicians
and characterized by extensive tongue-play
during cunnilingus, fellatio, or analingus.
The position is also celebrated in many manuscripts
As ‘Sailing to Phoenicia.’

BILL WOLAK’S THIRD BOOK OF POETRY is entitled Archeology of Light. He was selected to be a featured reader at the 2011 Kritya International Poetry Festival in Nagpur, India.
