DISPATCHER

The wind swirls.
First out of the South.
Then out of the North.

Giant thunderheads build
just west of Guymon Oklahoma.

By 3AM I’ll be sending the
crews to Euclid street to
turn Mrs. Eilliot’s lights
on and rescue her cat
from the tree.

 


Adam Jameson was born and raised in Pittsburg Kansas. He currently works for Westar Energy as an Estimator. He lives in rural Pittsburg with his wife Meredith, son Cole and Scooter the Shiatzu.
