Mommy want a piece of quiet
was what my children said they heard
whenever I said
I want some peace and quiet around here
whenever their play
or arguments would grow too loud
well now I have
my peace and quiet
and the piece is now
grown large
every day is peaceful
and far too quiet
with no more young ones at home
to stay
