POEM
FIVE POEMS BY FRANK T RIOS
Selected Work by Venice Poets

think not
that the broken
tongue
is fixed
by words
made to plaster
the image pretty

hear the crackling
as you fling them
in open fury
against the rock
that never felt
the kind of soft.
