Translations - George Wallace

Emilio Adolfo Westphalen

POEM

A man leans into the naked body of a woman
And a language slowly extends over him
A pink liquid
His body becomes quite humid brilliant and burning
Then with his teeth he does it here and there
He makes the signs of love
Small white points that adorn her dark skin
The woman closes her eyes, her nostrils dilate
Sometimes to his sorrow a sigh half-opens his lips.
