Five Poems by Eero Ruuttila

WEATHER REPORT

John Kiley and his wife were watching television at their home in rural Woodward, Indiana
when they heard the warning.
The wife said let’s go to the basement.
John said no.
They got into their car instead, and went down the road.
She looked out her window & said
there’s sheep everywhere, even a few houses.
John answered no.
Houses everywhere, even a few sheep.
