Night has its uses
though everything is black or white
in natural light.
The crimson petal sleeps
and then the white.

You’ll travel back 5,000 years,
you’ll sleep so deep
and never be the same.

The children’s moon is on the loose.
Beware the undertoad
and shun the prince
whose kiss releases you to sleep.
