Wisps of sunlight ease into
a darkened room, create
dappled memories, dance an
erotic tango with sinewy
images tattooing
painted walls;

swirls of mist
emanate from unlit
corners, waft eerily on
yesterday’s dreams;

light
plays magic, frees
once silenced hymns,
now chorused in stained glass
shattering crescendos
